    Hello,

I recently formatted the computer and made a Windows XP Pro install and there are 4 items in Device Manager with missing drivers. As they are not identified, could any 8510W post a screen capture of their Device Manager so that I can identify which drivers are missing?

I already downloaded all drivers from HP and installed all of them with the following errors:
-Intel Matrix Storage said that the computer was not adequate for it.
-TPM. Error installing the last version and I do not know why.
    -HP Protect Tools. Error installing.
-Intel Active Management. Successfully installed but it says it is disabled. Why? Anyway, what is this for?

    Thanks.

I think The Intel Matrix, TPM, and Intel Active are all related and completely unnecessary. The HP Protect Tools just need to be reinstalled, hopefully successfully. If you can't install them for whatever reason, they aren't that important either so you don't need them. All I have is the Drive Guard up and running with all the other stuff uninstalled.

Here's the software and driver page for the 8510w with XP Pro 32 bit: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsuppor...sId=3369263&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=1093

I believe the chipset drivers might get the Intel stuff working and the HP tools are also on there.
