I'm really considering buying a 8510p. But it seems to lack a s-video port. What options do I have if I want to view my video output on a standard definition TV via the red-white-yellow connectors?

Thanks for the replies. The VGA to S-VIDEO option looks good, but the yellow part of the cable (the one the should plug into the TV) should be a male instead of female connection type, if I am thinking correctly. Maybe it comes with that also?

Good point. Also, that website looked more than a little shady. If you are willing to spend $79.97 RadioShack has just what you need:

    http://www.radioshack.com/product/i...o+s-video&kw=vga+to+s-video&parentPage=search

Details from the product page on RadioShack.

    "Change things up a bit.
Use your TV as a computer monitor! The Ultimate XP Pro is a PC-to-TV converter that changes the VGA output from your desktop computer to a TV that uses composite video, S-video or component video cables.

No software required for conversion Adjust vertical and horizontal position of TV display
Area zoom function allows areas of the screen to be enlarged for special emphasis
Adjust brightness, contrast, ue and saturation Supports resolutions up to 1600x1200 (NTSC or PAL)"

There are 10 reviews of the product with a total rating of 4.5/5. Seems like a great product. :)

Right now, it is out of stock online, but it seems to be available in stores. At least in my area it is in stock.

Thanks renegadez9, that looks like my best option so far.
