    how much difference would it make if i had 3g of ram compared to 2. also the 8510p comes with a 1G ram in one slot correct? thanks so much

    If running Vista, you might see a small boost, especially if you play games and use other heavy software. In XP, it's almost overkill.

    And no, unless the specs say for sure the memory is 1x1gb, the 1gb that comes with you computer will be 2x512mb.

    Dang. Yeah just checked, Kain's right. I would've sworn I removed two ram sticks, but it was only 1.
