    Hi,

    I am looking to buy the M269UT#ABA - 8510p from buy.com :)

    http://www.buy.com/prod/sbuy-hp-com...160gb-hard-drive-dvd/q/loc/101/205120560.html

I am curious whether it will carry the same warranty as given by HP.

Also, does this laptop come with worldwide warranty or not? the HP rep was confused on this...

The main page does not say worldwide: http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF25a/321957-321957-64295-321838-3329741-3355678.html

Whereas if the link of discounts is clicked, the page says worldwide warranty:
    http://h71016.www7.hp.com/dstore/ct.../smProdCat/PSG/promo/notebooks/8510p/smartBuy

    Thanks and regards

    Some more final questions:

Does the 8510p Vista Business best buy model have the Intel Turbo memory?

How good would you rate the speakers of this machine compared to say the Harmon Kardons or Altec Lansings we see in some consumer laptops?

Is there any easy way (read cost effective ) to also get the wifi abgn configuration instead of wifi abg?

    Thanking you

The warranty is through HP yes. No clue about the WIFI, I guess you'd have to customize and order from HP.com.

Speakers are decent. Functional for business stuff and maybe some music...not much bass though.

No clue on the turbo memory. I haven't seen anything about it so...

I think, if I remember correctly. They posted an Article on NBR about HP not using Turbo Memory, because they do not think it has any benifit. I might be wrong but I think that is what it said. (Sorry if I was wrong)
