I have bought 8510p few days ago...
I have problem with keyboard- all the key working, but on right side keyboard is not fixed to notebook case...
When you press and hold on space between keys (on vertical bar), keyboard stays connected to case, but after few minutes goes up again... It seems that just a glue is not OK...
Mine question- is it too complicated to open the the notebook, take out keyboard and glue it better...
Thanks

The keyboard isn't glued in. Maybe one of the parts holding the keyboard down came loose or something. Check the guide in my sig. It shows you how to take off the keyboard. Worst case, you could give HP a call.

I have look better, a little...
Actually, it seems that only something which is between
cursor keys (up and right- free space between them, I dont know how to define) is not OK... When I press there- keyboard not goes up on any it parts...
Can you tell me, before open keyboard, is on that place any part which hold keyboard???

I have opened machine and found that everything is OK about fixing parts. But, area under delete key is glue and that glue is not catching good... Can I glue it with new glue it will be enough, i am 100procent sure... Also, it seems to me optical drive is a little weak if you press it it goes down, but may be it is normal- I am no so experienced...

Any help...
I can easily glue again that area under delete key, but then, I afraid I cant open again...
Can somebody look how is right side fixed in his machine... -
I would not glue it. As you will need to open it up at some point for what every reason it might be. It is actually double sided tape not glue under the top right corner. Funny enough after i got a keyboard replacement, due to un responsive j and 6 keys, with my new keyboard the problem does no exist anymore.
But the flexing top right corner is an on going problem with HP 15.4'' business models and has been for a while.I personally dont find it annoying at all, i havent really heard complains from other 8510p owners either.

It doesn't sound like a regular flexing problem because when that spot is pushed down, it takes a few minutes to come back up. I'd contact HP for a replacement keyboard.

It is strange to me- is HP planed to fix upper right corner (and all right side) with that double side tape on every 8510... If it is than I just need new one new tap... But it seems to me very weak option, or mine keyboard is deformated and that right side tries to go up all the time...
8510p keyboard problem...
