I have a well configured 8510w with a blu-ray rw drive. Wanting to know how this system is at burning blu-ray data discs. Also, is the cost of blu-ray media low enough to justify burning data to this type of disc? I've seen some pretty expensive single discs on amazon.com and other sites. Thanks for any input.

I cant comment on the performance of burning the blu rays on your comp as I dont have your comp, however the price of blank blu-rays is still ridiculous, honestly I have not found them anywhere less than $15 dollars a piece, and its hard to find bulk packs with like 25 to get the price down. I'd say its gonna be at least 6 months before the prices drop to a reasonable amount, considering the blu-ray burners and players are just now starting to drop. Not worth it right now, unless you can burn blu-ray movies, still then, its an opinion. I love my blu-ray player on my hdx16t, but honestly I regret the $100 upgrade as of right now, the movies are still way too expensive. I cant enjoy the quality of the 1080p and sound because I'm worried I'm going broke, lol.
