    8530W Boot Times

    I have an 8530w in raid 0 and it takes a looong time to boot. It hits the HP logo screen for 5 seconds, then there's a black screen for 10 seconds and then Vista takes another 10-15 seconds to boot.

    For those with this laptop. What are your boot times like?

    I counted more carefully and my real boot time is 10 secs hp logo + raid card initializing, 30 seconds black screen , 30 seconds windows vista screen.

    I have dual core system, boot time into windows vista business is long. More than 1 minute I think.
