    Hi all,

My system come with a Vista Business 32Bits pré-installed.

    1) Why is not comming with Vista Business 64bits?

    2) Can we upgrade from 32bits to 64bits without paying? If so, how?

    Thanks a lot,
    MEM

yes you can, actually my 8510p came with both vista business 32 and 64 bit. during the first startup you could choose which os suits you.

since your laptop came with vista 32 bit preinstalled and there is most likely no installation media for vista x64 in the box you will have to give hp a call and let them ship you the installation media for vista x64.

    Thanks for your replys.

Actually I do what to do a new install once I have hp8530p on my hands.
I know it brings a Vista Media the name I have in the document send by the store says:

Media OSDVD VST BUS 32 Module

Should I call HP or, as I have see around, this Media also brings a 64 version inside?

    Thanks a lot!!
