Does anyone know if the 8530p has hybrid graphics, or is it only a ati 3650 without
    an intel integrated?

Its only HD3650 in the HP line. But thee 8530p does come with a larger 8 cell battery as standard.

My 8510p with HD2600 just about makes 4hrs with some notetaking and random websurfing during class. With heavy websurfing it goes for about 3hr 30min. Wifi off, note taking only goes for about 4hr 30min if I am lucky. To achieve 5-7hrs you;d need the 8cell external battery from HP. Or the 12 cell one. They both go under the notebook.
