    Hi

So I recently bought an HP 2008 Advanced Dock to go with my 8530w.

I noticed that the laptop releases from the dock when pulled gently on the right-hand side (without pushing the release button on the dock). It's almost like the right hand clip is not engaging properly with the base of the laptop. The left hand clip always holds the machine down properly.

I've tried a couple other docking stations at work, and they all do the same thing. I've also inspected the hole where the right hand clip should engage, there does not seem to be any blockage or interference (or at least it seems the same as the left hand hole).

So, to anyone with an HP 8530w and docking station: does yours do the same? Is this normal?

    Thanks
    Craig
