    Hello,

just wanted to connect my laptop with a JVC HDTV but get 'no signal' on the TV set.

The cable is 100% ok. This notebook have an nvidia quadro 320nvs (8710gt based) card but im using the 'pure' 8700M GT drivers not the quadro ones. Could that be the problem?

I have tested the hdmi out with a JVC LT-26A80ZU HD & with a 36" Samsung full HD TV.

    Thank You,
    k

Did you go to into the Nvidia Control panel and select the HDMI output?

I don't use the HDMI output on my notebook but I tried it and had to select the output in the Nvidia Control panel to get it to work. Otherwise I also had "no signal". Once it was selected all worked fine.
