    8710p availability (canada)?

    Hi,
    I have just ordered (at work) an 8710p after much research. What I didn't research was availability in Canada. The local supplier has quoted 2 weeks on delivery but I thought I would check with the forum members. A quick trip through some online retailers in Canada shows very few, if any, in stock and all seem to be waiting for orders.
    Is this a current production model or is it still pre-prod?
    Does anyone have any info on availability?

    I received my RM253UA from Cendirect in 3 days.

    I ordered the rm253ua, as well. I checked on cendirect and even they are showing none(?) in stock. They are showing minus numbers in stock....so I don't think I can put any faith in their stock checking ability.

    I would love to ask you how you like it, but that's a topic for another thread.
    If you have the time, many of us might appreciate your initial thoughts on it.
