    Hi everyone,
I have a 8710w and the advanced HP dockingstation. If the Notebook is in the dockingstation the lid is closed and I use an external monitor at the DVI port. If the book is powered on and I remove it out of the station and open the lid, the internal monitor does not turn on. Also the key combination FN + "MonitorSwitch" does not work. I always must turn off the book and after a restart the internal monitor turns on again.
Backwards if I worked with the book outside the station with the internal monitor, shut down the book, close the lid and insert it back into the station, the external monitor powers on only after I pressed FN + "MonitorSwitch".
Very strange behaviour. Anyone here with the same problem or with a solution ?

Are you using HP's stock drivers or some modified ones like Laptop Video 2 Go's?
