8770w touchpad dead?

Hi all.
I have not faced any similar issue in the past...
my laptop touchpad is not working anymore. It is not detected by windows...
there were few times when it has not responded in near past, making hardware and bios reset made it working again for some time, but now it is dead completely(bottom row buttons and touchpad).

is there anything i can do by myself to fix it or just look for another touchpad? i have tried to update drivers, delete drivers, disconnect and reconnect, and etc....

touchstyk on keyboard is working, and top row of buttons(above touchpad)is working too...

Could try booting to Linux and running it off the disc or flash drive. That should tell you whether it's a hardware or software issue.

well... i got it working after i reassembled after cleaning cooling fans. but now touchstyk is not working....

something strange is going on.
