My 9600 mGT looks like it is about to burn out ... GPU Z, shows its temp at 88*C, when the card is being fully used ..... since am new here ... i wish to to know if this temp, is dangerous to my card ..... especially since it is not Overclocked ....... btw, I own a HP dv7, 1022tx ... please help with suggestions ... i have heard of undervolting, but dunno enough about it ..... at what temp, shoudl I decide to take corrective action ?

If it still works properly it isn't "Too hot", however you can increase airflow and see if that makes any difference

Graphics cards are safe up to 100 degrees C so you're fine. If the temps get too high, it will automatically shut off your laptop to prevent damage to the components.
