the T7700 is fairly new as far as i know. i havent tried it on the 9500t but i have used it on a mac. lets just say its a great processor
get the screen with the higher resolution if you can. the TV Tuner is great btw -
If you're asking us if it's a good deal, it'd be wise to actually post how much it costs. Also what are you using it for?

THe processor is very fast, but it would only be fast in processor dependant applications. In day to day usage, you won't notice any difference between a T7700 and a T7100. That sort of processor is expensive, and most people will never use the full power of it. If possible, its better to downgrade to a slightly "slower" processor, and spend the saved money on other components, wuch as the RAm r hard disk.
For example, you could save enough money by downgrading to a T7300 processor, to buy yourself 3 GB of RAM, and a larger hard disk. -
My ram is 2gb and I can upgrade only from 2gb to 4gb which
is very high and...I don't think it will be usefull for me, hehe.
I dont need a big hard disk, 120 is enough.
How many games will I put on it - 3, 4 maybe.
I need it for a great performance and the speakers are thing I'll care.
The price as I remember is about 1800$.. -
I would cut the processor down to T7500. As others have said, you are paying a huge premium for that processor and getting only very minute advantage from it.
I also recommend the 1680x1050 screen. The letters will not be too small and you will enjoy the higher definition of it.
Finally, you can get 4GB RAM aftermarket for about $200 now. HP charges +525, so you can see how much they are inflating the price. I would get 1GB from HP, then buy 4GB from somewhere else. It will not void the warranty.
