i have a 9500t... every now and then a vibration begins below the left hand side of the unit right beside the touchpad. Often the vibration can be made to happen on each keypress.

If i press down on the case around the area the vibration stops, similarly if i hold the pressure a keypress will not restart the vibration.

    anyone else have this?

Same exact thing happens to mine... However mine is going back and being replaced for a different issue.

I don't have that problem with my dv9500t. But in general, I'm not all that impressed with HP's fit & finish of the Pavillion line.

i think the hp laptop's look badass, also the vibration is from the hdd. theres really nothing you can do to fix it. Dose it really vibrate that much? mine will a little here and there but not bad. (my specs are in my sig) i kinda wish i got the 2.20 possessor for $100 more, i got my 9500t about Christmas, then the 9700t came out and i was so close to returning my 9500t and getting the 9700t with better stuff for cheaper with the $400 off coupon. I used the 25% off coupon on my 9500t, the 9500t is great though...

the vibration is NOT hard drive, it is a case vibration of some sort... guess how I can tell... it happens when the unit is OFF.
