    Wow, i cant belive what just happend, i am so unbeliveably happy with HP support, it turns out that my screen was defective (dead pixcel, long story) and so was my battery, i called them and they are taking my laptop back, and giving me a new one with an AMD processor with the equivelent of a P4 at 3.6gHz, a gig of ram (compared to my 512) a deticated graphics card (64MB nVedia) and a multi-layer, faster dvd rom drive. Not to mention the extra 20 gigs of hard drive, and bluetooth. they also gave me overnight shipping and an expedited build. all for 50 bucks cheeper than what i paid origionally! what compaq wont do to loose a sale to dell, im tellin you

    being that generous! Well, good luck with your new laptop, I hope that will be problem free for you!

    The AMD Athlon 64 processor is way better than the Pentium 4, faster, more battery life, less heat. Twice as much ram? Awesome! And 20 extra gigs of hard drive space and bluetooth and all the other stuff? Man, I'd be squealing with joy if I was you! [ :)]

    I cant belive it eather, even threw in a free printer... but i think that was one of their current promotions, idk.
