Hi. First of all, sorry for my bad English, but I will try to do my best to be understandable.

I have a Pavilion G4 2240BR (Brazilian-specific model with Intel i3 3110M and 1x4gb DDR3-1600) and it came with this Ralink RT3290 WLAN+BT card. My past experiences with Ralink products aren't good, so I would like to know if this particular model is reliable and power efficient?

If not, what is a good alternative compatible with my computer?

    Thanks

There is an ongoing thread on HP Support over here. Please contribute your grievance there so HP may understand that consumers abhor third-rate products.

As of now I'm helping a friend to solve this issue on an Envy 4 ultrabook. The problem with his model is it takes considerably more effort to disassemble the bottom case just to replace that POS Ralink.
