Every so often I will hear a sound comign from my laptop that sounds like a pack of churping birds. Its not too loud, I presume this will be the hard disc spinning?? But there is adiferent sound for when things are loading, a constant one, not like birds churping. Are all of these sounds normal.

Its just Ive had laptops before and they have never made these sounds. Cold it be that I have a faster harddrive and therefore more sound? Are these known hp dv2000 series sounds?

any help would be greatly appreciated, especially from people who own a dv2000

also the loading sound seems to happen far too often. Just opening the start menu sets it of. Or scrolling one song fruther in itunes.

Do a search on this forum a few members have had that problem. I think one member called HP and they told him to update bios and after that it was fine. Just search to make sure.
