I need a new ac adapter for my laptop because the current one (65w) has a tear near the rubber base with some of the wires cut. Do you thinks it's still safe to use even though the wires are cut and electrical tape is applied or is it still considered a fire hazard? Does it have to be replaced with the exact same model or can I use a 90w one if it has the same specifications as the 65w one? On Bestbuy and Circuit City's website, they have the 90w and it's compatible with the dv 6000 series which is the same model as this laptop. Will the 90w one generated more heat than the 65w one? Help plz! Edit: Title meant to say HP dv 6263cl
