Folks,
I need an AC Power adapter for my new (when it arrives) Envy 17 notebook. Would any of these work with the new envy 17 model:

HP wants 80$ for this thing, which I think is expensive.
Thanks for your help.

The first and second link will both work.

Why do you say that?
Is it because of Envy 17-2000 mentioned in the description? I think the latest Envy 17 is an upgrade on 17-2000. So, how do you know if the battery is still compatible?
PS: My apprehension comes from the fear that vendors are known to screw their customers into buying new accessories with every upgrade. -
Whether Envy or Pavillion Sandy Bridge...both machines require the 120 Watt PSU to run properly. Both the first and second link are the proper PSU for the Envy line. h8isgr8 is correct

They are the correct voltage, current, and plug size; that's all that matters really. The battery doesn't have anything to do with the adapter.

Does it not come with a power adapter?
I went to BestBuy and bought 3 different replacements for my 3 year old dv6somethingorother and paid like $100 then returned them and got one off of ebay for $10 that works great. The BB ones all got hot enough to cook an egg on. -
It does. I need an additional one for the office.

Thanks. That makes sense!
