It is indeed a mobile processor. Actually, when you see the Athlon XP-M 3000, it is a mobile Athlon 64 with the 64-bit extensions turned off. My zv5000z is the Pavilion counterpart to the R3000z. I ordered the 3200 at 2.0GHz, because it was more important for me to get 1 gig of ram, than the extra few hundred MHz on the CPU. I'm sure you'll have a good time using that lappy.

    Enjoy - cheers,

    Stevo

    zv5000z: Ath64_3200+ (2.0GHz) - 1GB DDR - 80GB 5400rpm - 64MB GeForce4 440 - 15.0" XGA (1024x768)
