Hi all. I have an HP dv6-6145dx machine, which has the AMD A8-3500 chip with the 6620G integrated graphics.

My machine is stable running the out-of-the-box drivers, but I know there are newer drivers available for a couple of the components (AMD, network card, etc) through Windows update. Do you guys update from the Windows update, or would I be better off sticking with what's available from HP update?

Do upgrade if you are planning on gaming. The stock HP bios is terrible at hybrid crossfire

Except don't use Windows Update for your GPU-download the newest drivers directly from AMD.com. They'll also check from time to time and prompt you to update.

Ok, will do. I don't have crossfire in my machine (wish I did!). But I'll go ahead and update tonight.
