Is it possible to replace my 90nm Turion x2 TL-52 with one of the newer CPUs, say 65nm Turion x2 TL-64? Would I run into BIOS problems or anything like that? HP dv2000z by the way.

    Thanks

You can, but I'd upgrade to the latest BIOS version available if possible (as it does address some minor 65nm issues).............

EDIT: Watch out for heat as well, because they don't appear to run any cooler.

Like R4000 said you can upgrade to the new 65nm turions, as they also use socket s1 like the previous 90nm ones.

However remember if your notebook is still under warranty; you will void the warranty by doing a processor swap...
