    Hi good day,

I have been waiting so long for HP to release the graphic driver of HP Pavilion dv4-3016tx. As they promised several times before (I have proof), they said that they will release it this week but I don't believe what they said as they lied several times before to their customers. Anyone here know where can I get the latest graphic driver for Windows8? Currently the Intel switchable graphic has problem with metro Apps. Metro Apps will crash if I switch to the intel graphic. I'm using Windows 7's driver for that. And another issue is with the Ralink Motorola BC8 bluetooth 3.0+hs adapter that is not working properly.

I really need to use this bluetooth and I need to switch to the intel graphic when i'm on battery mode to save battery life. I have been waiting and waiting and waiting since the release preview of Win 8.

Try the official HP Dv6 driver. It should work, because the dv6 uses the same components: HD3000 + 6770m (factory overclocked 6750m)

It has been several months since I use the driver and I notice it constantly crash showing a notification message from the system tray "'Display driver AMD has stopped responding and has recovered". Is there any fix?

Thank you so much. the latest driver Catalyst 13.6beta2 from Leshcats works better than any driver from HP. Since that, I haven't noticed any problem when using this driver like standby, hibernate and crash problem when watching movie. For god sake, I hate those people at HP company, they are fu-king lazy to develop the Windows 8's driver for this model and instead of finding solution, they said and confirmed to their customers that they won't release Windows 8's driver for this model because it was designed to use Windows 7 and it was designed that way. They discontinued some of their products which only 2 years old from the manufactured date and focusing on creating new products. They made me confused, if that so why did they release the new BIOS for this model that is compatible with Windows 8 (Airplane mode). I don't understand why. Their technical team know how to talk with customers diplomatically but their knowledge in technical issue is zero.

Don't get me started on HP driver practices! ;D

They left the 6850m completely in the dust. The premium line notebook which was supposed to be up gradable to Windows 8. (one would assume). It is also the ONLY card that didn't get an official updated driver whilst still being in the "up gradable" time period.

Check if your brightness controls work btw! The registry value responsible for making them work (or not work) is called FeatureTestControl. Leshcat has a tool that enables to change these values to get the Brightness Control to work!

Yes, the brightness is working fine ^_^. Perhaps, this is the last HP product I will be using in the future. :)

Not just an HP problem but they certainly aren't doing anything to help it. OEMs should be forced to update their drivers at least twice a year for x amount of years or something.
