Hi, so I bought an HP DM3-1030 us the AMD model.

I let my brother use it yesterday and he returned it but he ripped off the AMD sticker for some reason.

I contacted both AMD and HP about getting an AMD Neo sticker back but they both won't send me one. I am a high school student.

Anyone wanna be kind and either send me one or tell me somehow to get one? Thanks.

it just depends what looks good. sometimes stickers make the body of the laptop look ugly, sometimes it makes it look better. with my dv7t, since the entire thing is like a shiny chrome, it made more sense to remove the stickers. the unit looks more attractive w/o them now anyway.

this is my machine before removing the stickers

Mine came with no stickers!!! I remove the ones that come normally, I hate those things...

OP, is there a specific reason why youd want the sticker back>

Does removing does stickers void any warranty whatsoever? This thread made me want to see my notebook sticker free. :p

    Why rip the stickers off?
I think they look cool on there in my opinion, and you can show off that your notebook has a Nvidia GPU.

Doesn't running a 3D game or program show off your GPU? Or looking at the system specs? The stickers IMHO are just advertising to me (the primary user of the laptop) what I have in it. I already know what's in it ;) But to each his own. You like the cluttered, sticker look. Like painting flames on a car. I like the cleaner, sticker-free look. Like the SR-71 ;) Either way, it doesn't affect the warranty (at least the palmrest stickers don't) and it's just a personal preference.

    LOL pita!

#1 - the laptop never leaves my desk so the only one that would know that it has an nvidia gpu is me :D

i duno, the finish on the unit was so nice and clean, i felt like the stickers looked terrible on it.... like, it makes the unit seem tacky (or more tacky since it's already all chrome... LMAOOOO)

Lol,true. I like leaving the stickers on,only if they aren't cluttered up,but it's gotten worse since they add more stickers such as keyboard ergo warnings and Energy Star,or the wireless antenna brand inside the machine.
    A AMD/Intel sticker+ATI or Nvidia isn't clutter to me.

Mine came with 3, Centrino 2 + NVidia + Windows Vista and I like them personally >_>

I ended up getting another Centrino 2 and stuck it on the lid of my notebook (above the lighted HP logo), and a Core 2 Duo + Windows 7 one in the largest size they come in, because my laptop's large.

They're easily findable on ebay, and someone has lot of different ones to choose from.
