Do new ATI Catalyst Drivers do anything for the zv6005us with the 128MB Radeon express 200?

Quick answer no.(Catlyst 5.5) I retried 3DMark2003 with no appreciable difference in score(1507 with an Athlon 3200 - 512meg). While at it I added an additional 64 meg to the card via bios. No difference. In reading a couple of reviews about the Radeon Express 200 card, their 3DMark2003 scores ran about the same on different hardware (Small variance depending on amount of RAM and processor speed.) Looks to me that HP has delivered what can be expected at least with this video card. In trying a couple of demo games (For example Bards Tale) it ran very well. I am not a gamer so whether the card adequately supports Doom 3 or not is a moot point. I will try some video editing to see what happens. Others have expressed some dissatisfaction in this regard.
