    Laptop - HP DV6
    GPU - 6770m
    Windows 7 Ultimate 64x

I once tried upgrading to 12.8 and after that got these error.

When I try to run Catalyst Control Center from the start menu, I get this error:

CCC: Host application has stopped working
    Code:
    Description:
      Stopped working

    Problem signature:
      Problem Event Name:	CLR20r3
      Problem Signature 01:	ccc.exe
      Problem Signature 02:	3.5.0.0
      Problem Signature 03:	4ca242ed
      Problem Signature 04:	mscorlib
      Problem Signature 05:	2.0.0.0
      Problem Signature 06:	4ef6c131
      Problem Signature 07:	20c9
      Problem Signature 08:	143
      Problem Signature 09:	N3CTRYE2KN3C34SGL4ZQYRBFTE4M13NB
      OS Version:	6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1
      Locale ID:	2057

And when I click on "Configure switchable graphics", I get this error:
CCC: Command line interface has stopped working

I have tried installed different catalyst versions 11.2, 12.2, 12.8 but the same error.
I also tried installing the drivers from the HP website first and then install the new ones over it but the same error.
I have also tried doing a clean install, first uninstall from the control panel and then running Driver cleaner and then installing again but it didn't worked.

Any ideas other than installing the windows again?

Delete all the graphics drivers. Install the original HP driver, set to fixed mode in bios, activate the AMD card in windows then try to install the Leshcat 12.8 driver using the driver update option in the installation menu. This method worked for me well, without errors.

After deleting all the drivers and installing the official HP driver, there's no option to activate or deactivate the AMD card. Set to fixed in bios but there's no CCC after installing the HP drivers.

Try download and install Leshcat's latest 12.9 Sep4 UnfiL PT ( v 0.5 ). Follow the built in manual for clean installation.

I have tried installing the leshcat one too. Still the same problem.
Is there anything to try other than reinstalling Win?
