    Hi Guys,
I'm looking for your help. My big sister send me here HP 6715b. The notebook just boots in Safe Mode or with a Linux Live CD. First I tested the Hardware with the installed BIOS option. It showed that the HDD has corrupt sectors. Wiping the HDD with the Hitachi DFT tool solved that problem and the Notebook booted regularly with a freshly installed Win7. But after new installation of the GPU driver Win7 booting was impossible. The laptop just turns itself off while showing the Win7 logo. I tried the HP and regular ATI driver but the problem remained.
It would be great if anybody could help me with that issue.
    Thx, banjo
