My New HP zx5000 just arrived and it has a ATI radeon 9600 with s-video out. Last night i tried hooking it up, followed what the ati manual said to plug in svideo turn tv on restart computer and then goto display and select tv, but the tv option is always greyed out. Any ideas?? thanks!

The only thing I can tell you to try is when you have the computer on and the tv on and hooked up is hold Fn and hit F4. That is the command that tells it to switch between monitors. Hope it works

This is all i did, I pluged in the wire to the tv and computer. I put my tv on video 1 but this might be something else on yours. I hit Fn+F4 and now its on both tv and lcd. If yours isn't working you might have another problem. Check to see you have the lastest hp drivers.

I had 2 cables that did that. But I just tried an adapter from an electronics store and it works. It has to be wired right and most that come with other gfx cards are only for those cards.
