    The sale on the dv5t is ending, so i have to buy it soon. my friend won't be home for 2 weeks to pick it up, so after the initial delivery, and the fedexpeople keep it at their warehouse for 7 days, that would be 2 weeks. the laptop would have been shipped back to hp when my friend gets back home. is there any way aruond that? like telling that to ship it later?

    The laptop probably wouldn't even be shipped until 7-14 days after it has been ordered. Maybe you might be lucky and there will be a back order on parts. The estimated ship date isn't always accurate.

    oh, basically key in NB3325 and get 200$ off laptop over 999. (9600gt) any better deal? i cant rely on they probably will ship 7-14 days later, i need a solid date....btw

    i want to buy the dv5t before october 1st but he won't be home for the next two following weeks. they said the estimated build date is october 8 and the shipping is about 5-7 days. will my friend be home in time to pick it up from the fedex or ups center?
