I have a friends HP Pavilion with Windows 8 that ends up at my house due to viruses every month.

Anyways, I thought I'd use Acronis Backup on a USB Key to backup a fresh image with the latest updates etc.
I could boot from a Acronis Backup 32G stick and probably fit the image on it and avoid having to spend 5 hours updating everytime.

Great idea, quick restore but having problems.

Edited BIOS to see the USB KEY on boot, hit escape on boot and select usbkey no problem.
Unfortunately Acronis doesn't see the hard drive now.

I basically edited the bios to disable security boot and enable legacy.
I than pushed the USBKEY to the top of the boot order.

    Any help would be appreciated.
