    Hi I just bought a Hp Pavilion Dv2033ea (Europe-Spanish).
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...name=c00705966

I have a doub. How many graphics memory it have?. Windows, System Properties saids 960MB for system, and Display properties said 256Mb for graphics. HP homepage, says only 128 shared.

    First I thought was:
1024-960 = 64. Graphics Card use 64MB from system, but if it's have 256, then it have 192Mb. It a strange number (128+64)

    Thanks

The graphics memory is dynamic and also dependant on the amount of system memory. 64MB is the minimum it uses and will increase it only when needed. The max capable is 256MB which is only allocated if you have 2GB of RAM.

The Geforce 6150 shares its memory with the system RAM and does not have any dedicated memory of its own.

Yeah, its a nice laptop. I have had it for abour 3 weeks now and other than some serious gaming it is capable of handling anything else.

Sorry to butt in, wanted to say I also have a Compaq V3019US, nice laptop overall, especially the screen, so bright and vibrant. Only complaint is that it gets really hot after a while, but I only use it on a desk so it doesn't count. Still wish it had the media buttons of the HP, don't like Compaq being a dumbed down version of HP. :(
