How Do I assign my quickplay buttons. My sister has an older hp laptop and her quickplay button takes her straight to quickplay without starting the os, but mine start the os then goes to quickplay. And also how do I assign the quickplay flash buttons cause I have a dvd and quickplay button and I'd like to know how to assign each one. I have vista home prem. Please let me know. thnks.

i have the same model :) except i got 400gb and 4gb of ram but anyways you cant.
yours sisters laptop was apart of linux (quickplay) where they take 236 mb of you hdd and install quickplay separate from the os. but not anymore. quickplay is now installed in windows, having the os boot up when you touch the quickplay buttons
    do u understand

yeah i got a question is there a way to install quickplay the old version on my older dv8000t i deleted everthing on the hard drive and put vista on it id like it to just do quickplay thatd be cool. also they advertised the dv5000'z and dv8000's with " dont boot just play " basically useing your laptop as a portable dvd player to save battery life
