How does this look? I had a few questions..Does the "high capacity" 8 cell battery actually last longer than the regular 8 cell? I also heard that the 256mb Video card will perform about the same as the 512, is that true?

I do not think there is much difference in battery life between a high capacity 8 cell and a regular 8 cell.

Do NOT get the 512MB graphics card. The extra 256MB is not used. There will not be any improvement in (gaming) performance.

Will the card be sufficient for counter strike source/WoW gaming?

Anyone know anything else about the 8 cell/premium 8 cell?

Get it and if you don't feel like it's the one for you then you can at least return depending on where you buy it. Others have longer return dates than others.

HP website says hi-caps lasts 13% longer. if you can calculate how much 13% more is....

i was thinking of getting the 6cell hicap for my dv6000t since i didnt want ot go with the 12cell...

battery life difference is minimal - you get about 15% more, max. It should play CS/WoW with no problems, the GPU is fine but (hasta la) vista might. It's a beautiful machine which I just got for my cousin :D

That's a great setup..go for it. If I had the money, I'd get the exact same thing.
