Which configuration is better for heat/gaming/speed?

    Core 2 Duo 2.0 Ghz / 256MB NVIDIA 9200GS
    Turion X2 2.0 Ghz / 256MB RADEON HD3450

Do either of these cards have an HDMI or DVI port or both?
Do either of these cards has discrete(noisy) fans?

Also, I read that the 9600GT has heat issues with this machine.. is this still the case? I'm a little weary about getting that version... although I do assume it has an HDMI port.

    Thanks for the help!

The Radeon definitely does HDMI w/audio. After all the trouble with defective NVIDIA chips in the previous HP notebook series I'd lean heavily towards a Turion Ultra to get the better chipset and ATI GPU.

If you're serious about 3D gaming you'll want a higher-end GPU though, at least a Radeon 3650, which HP doesn't sell. For lighter stuff like WoW and Blu-ray video you'll be fine.
