    There isn't anything else on the web that even suggests this combo is possible the Max this system was sold with was a 4900MQ so I assumed the Mobo did not have the CPU ID in bios but there it is in the link 4940 mx on a HP 1909 (aka G1 HP 1909) mobo doubly surprising cause the 4940 is part of the i7 4x10 refresh soi assume those procs would be compatible too. What is the best way to check a bios for it's CPU ID list?
