Nev is close. This is the most detailed description you will find on HP's site:
"You get sharp images and true color from the ATI RadeonĀ® XPRESS 200M graphics with up to 128MB of dedicated video memory. For more intense graphics, you can tap into an ADDITIONAL 128MB of shared system memory that you can configure. For systems that run less graphics-intensive applications, you can also select an ATI Radeon XPRESS 200M graphics card with 32MB of shared video memory and then customize the amount of shared video memory used by your system up to 128MB. You'll get the graphics power when you need it and save battery power when you don't."

yeah it actually has quite a bit of potential if you have enough ram. So you can have up to a 256mb card 128 beign dedicated. The other version is 32mb non-dedicated upto 128mb non-dedicated. For the proce diffrence it dosent make any sense to get the latter of the two.

Here is a breakdown of the radeon X300 which is comparable to Xpress 200M, the x300 also uses hypermemory. Hope this helps to clear up any confusion.
