    Hi All

    This is my first post at your awesome site I hope I'm posting in the right section.

    I have an HP DV9700 I installed a second Hard drive with the Adapter or for 2.5" SATA hard drive

    and it said it installed and I can see the hard drive in my Device Manager but when I go to My Computer all i SEE IS THE c DRIVE I don't see the new Hard Drive I installed. Can someone tell me what I did wrong?

    Assuming that the drive was installed correctly and the drive is operational, try going to Disk Management. It should display Disk 0 and Disk 1. Disk 1 is the new drive. You will need to format it and assign a drive letter to it. You can do this by right clicking on it and selecting format. It should be formatted as NTFS. Hopefully that works for you.
