This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Add codecs to Quickplay?

    I haven't seen this discussed elsewhere...

    One of the first things I noticed about QuickPlay was that it wouldn't play most of the videos I have because they are encoded with divx or other codecs that QuickPlay doesn't recognize. That makes the function considerably less valuable to me.

    Is it possible to add codecs to QuickPlay?
