I want to add on the HP mobile broadband internal card to my Envy 14. Does anyone that ordered it from HP with HP mobile broadband have which card that they put in? I will be using it on Verizon. If they have a global card that can accept a sim that will work, that would be even better. Also, Am I going to loose my Intel Advanced-N card that came with the laptop in order to install mobile broadband?

It would be extremely hard to install because you have to disassemble the entire screen to install the antennas. But no, you won't lose the 6200.

The screen pulls apart. Just stick your fingers in the tiny crack between the rubber and the screen and pull. There are no screws. The whole computer comes apart like nothing. I swaped my screen then took the plastic off to clean a spec of dirt.

I always noticed that I was afraid to actually try and do it..so I can just stick a knife in there and wedge it out?

I’m not sure if the un2420 works on the envy 14.
Maybe you need to MOD BIOS.

    I get an un2420 from Taobao.com.Just costs 200 yuan(about 30 us$).
I tried the wifi antenna, and it works without 105 fault.
But I don't know how to install the antenna to the top of the screen.
Maybe it's not a easy job.
Just read as a Google English.

Putting the antenna anywhere other than the top plastic strip of the screen will result in bad reception, because the body of the Envy is metal.
