I bought an HP Bluetooth module (part #412766-001) off of eBay for twenty something dollars. Used the HP service manual for my laptop and disassembled and installed it. Vista found it and installed drivers, works flawlessly.
It is a fairly involved procedure though, took me about an hour or two start to finish. Basically you have to tear down everything just to get to this connector on the motherboard and the place on the case where you screw it in. Once the machine is taken apart, the installation itself is super easy, like 5 seconds just to plug things in and screw it on.
Notes for if anyone else wants to do this. The HP service manual is inaccurate in a number of places, and neglects to mention screws you must remove in order to proceed. It also says you have to remove the display assembly for no apparent reason, there's no reason to remove it and I didn't.

wow, i was thinking of doing the same thing
do you have pictures? -
That's good to know..I was thinking of putting wireless card into my daughter's laptop but there are antenna's which you need to put to the screen and I could not find the whole unit in complete set with all the wires. Doesn't bluetooth use any antennas? Thanks for sharing this info.

Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures, should have, but I had figured the HP Service Manual would have been plenty (but of course I was wrong).
Bluetooth doesn't seem to require any antennas. The service manual says just use the cable, plug it into the motherboard, and then screw it into the case. That's what I did and it worked perfectly right off.
The mere act of plugging it in even hooks it into the wireless button up front. At first Windows didn't detect it and I was scratching my head, but then I realized I had forgot to enable wireless. I flipped the switch and then new hardware wizard started up right away. -
Well done manekineko. I've also bought one on ebay a month ago but sadly it was lost by USPS...It doesn't seem like an easy item to find unless one doesnt care forking out 99$ to some online retailer..
Added Internal Bluetooth to my dv9207us
