    Adding bluetooth?

    My DV6000 came without bluetooth and now I'd like to add bluetooth. Is there any way to get an internal component to add bluetooth or should I just get a USB dongle?

    It'll be much easier to get a dongle...than to take apart your laptop and insert an aftermarket bt module =)

    The bluetooth module must be included in HP's white list or otherwise it would be very very hard. You can try and search Hp's partsurfer to get HP's bluetooth module.

    I'd just go with the USB Dongle, much much easier imho...

    i believe you could if you replaced the wireless add-in module with the intel ABG bluetooth enabled version. otherwise, a usb dongle would be easiest and most cost effective.

    the MoGo Dapter will be out later in the year that's the smallest usb bluetooth dongle i've seen:
