As the subject line indicates, I have already purchased my zx5078cl and have been using it for over 6 months. One of the options I did not buy that I now wish I would have is Bluetooth. Bluetooth would make ad hoc connections with my (unable to upgrade to PPC 2003 SE - thanks for no support HP!) iPAQ h4355 much easier.

When I removed the keyboard to inspect the installed RAM, I noticed a little space next to the WiFi component. I wonder if that is where the Bluetooth component would be installed? Can any of you verify that the Bluetooth component is physically installed right next to the WiFi component?

Now for a hard question: Will HP allow me to purchase their Bluetooth component at their ridiculously high price for replacement parts? I would like to have Bluetooth built-in rather than have a USB adapter hanging out.

    What do you think?

I don't have one of these units, so I can't say for certain that this is where the module goes. HP will sell the module to you if it's available to your unit, but as you stated, it's gonna cost an arm and a leg.
