When i use the sliding thing on my dv5, the volume overlay comes on and if im playing a game or something, it has to minimize. Its incredibly frustrating. Also its in the middle of the screen so if im watching a movie it gets in the way for a full 5 seconds.

Does anyone know how to stop this?

Oh and for hp users check out the attachment, it turns off your display. Its really useful.

Go to the control panel and check the quicktouch settings. Alternatively you can just disable/kill the QLB or quicktouch process in startup or task manager

Nah that doesnt work, the only options in quicktouch settings are to change the sound it makes when you press the buttons. And dkilling the QLB in the processers just disables the noise it makes when you press the buttons.
