I have an HP dv6375 and I am using a 12 cell OEM HP battery that I bought from eBay. RM clock says the battery life is only 2 1/2 hours (and has said that from day 1), but I have seen it go longer than that. I am running Vista and wifi so that doesn't help either.

The HP battery check program says its in fair condition and I should replace it or callibrate it, which I do occassionally. Its not quite 1 year old yet.

Should I bite the bullet and buy an OEM HP battery or are the aftermarket ones any good? Where should I go to replace this battery?

Always buy OEM but from a retailer. Buying it directly from HP is too expensive.

Aftermarket batterys dont have the same standards of safety as OEM batterys. Safety first.

What retailer? HP seems to have the cheapest price and no cost shipping.

    $149.99

Staples and probably others have had them for $99. Just have to watch.
