    Guys
Need some advice- i have always been a ThinkPad owner- trying to get into the HP World for the first time. Need some advice on:
    A.1.17" bright vs. Ultra Bright
    B. 7200 100GB vs. 5400 240GB

    1. Is the difference so stark?
    2. What impact would this have on the battery life
    3. and on heating?
    4. Is the TV Tuner only compatible on US NTSC systems or does Pal work as well?
    5. WHat are the native ports on the 9000t? Dont see any list anywhere- is HDMI, VGA and Svideo native?

Still undecided between the 9000t vs. 6000t

    I just ordered a DV9000t last night. Core 2 Duo T5500, 1 gig, 80 gb 5400rpm HD, DVDRW.

I didn't get a 7200 rpm drive because the laptop has two drive bays, and I'm going to install an aftermarket 7200rpm myself. Probably use that drive as my main drive with a fresh windows install, with the original drive as backup. It costs $28 for the mounting bracket. I know drive speed typically has a pretty big impact on overall computer speed, but I couldn't quantify it for you.

I got the 1680x1050 screen which only comes in bright-view, because I wanted the higher rez.

I believe it has all the video outs you listed, double check the specs.
