My dad's 17" older (not to old) keyboard just stopped responding, starting with the cap lock and going from there. I tried pressing a couple of fn keys, but to no result. He's also rebooted couple of times, but stil total nothingness. He says he hasn't done anything in particular to mess with this.
    Help us!

Anything spill into the laptop? Most keyboard issues like this that I've seen has been as a result of some liquid being spilled onto the keyboard. As nephipower said, what model and is it still under warranty?
