    Am I eligible for an XP CD from HP?

    Well I am using this year old dv9312tx which came with Vista Ultimate pre-installed. I have been using XP Pro on it for the last 3 months or so using my XP CD which came with my old desktop. Today while reinstalling, the CD just won't boot anymore. I heard that Ultimate owners automatically get XP downgrade rights. Under those circumstances, am I eligible to get a replacement XP CD from HP?

    you need vista business to be able to downgrade I believe.

    But I read it somewhere that XP downgrading is possible both with Vista Ultimate and Business.

    Just doublechecked to be sure, and it's only with Vista Business, and Business Customers, with Business Class Machines/laptops
